Adaptable art space on Budapest's most happening street
Close to Budapest's main crossing point of Deák tér, VAM Design Center shows and design has hosted all kinds of cultural events. Included in the programme are Budapest Fashion Week, the 'Bodies' exhibition and a month-long regional photo exhibition.
Conceived in 1989 by Miklós Vincze, who also collated the exhibits for the in-house VAM Design Museum, the project's most interesting wing is VAM'Art, an outlet for up and coming Hungarians to promote and exhibit their works.
