The Liberty Bridge
Szabadság híd is a bridge connecting the Buda and Pest sides of the city across the Danube. At one side of the bridge, you can find the famous Gellért Spa and Hotel Gellért.
One of the most beautiful and scenic bridges in Budapest, Szabadság híd was built between 1894 and 1896 to the plans of János Feketeházy. The bridge was recently renovated, and is now one of the favorite places for the locals to hang out, enjoying beautiful sunsets, and the city lights at dusk.
