Description
Showcase for contemporary Hungarian art with international links
On a street lined with galleries, auctioneers and antique stores, MissionArt Gallery was founded by art historians László Jurecskó and Zsolt Kishonty in 1990. First specialising in works of the 20th-century Nagybánya School, MAG hosted an exhibition of the early abstractionist János Mattis-Teutsch.
Most recently, MissionArt has shown 'New Sculptures, New Drawings' by András Wahorn, underground musician and artist from the long-established alternative scene in Szentendre. His onetime collaborator László feLugossy has also exhibited here.
