Description

The Ludwig Museum, which houses Hungary's most important collection of international contemporary art, is situated in the Palace of Arts, an architectural structure that has been the subject of debate. Spanning the past half-century, its works include pieces by Hungarian, American, Russian, German, and French artists, as well as a majority of Central and Eastern European art that dates mostly from the 1990s. The museum's temporary exhibitions tend to be highly praised.
