Description
The city´s first privately owned gallery
Knoll Galéria opened in 1989 as the city´s first privately owned gallery. Exhibitions – in cooperation with Knoll Galerie Wien – offer visitors a rare look at the works of Hungarian and other Eastern European artists. Also, the Knoll Gallery houses thematic works supportive of theoretical discussions which help define contemporary art.
Hans Knoll's respected gallery shows Hungarian artists like Ákos Birkas and János Sugár, rising young stars like János Fodor and Tibor Horváth, and artists from neighboring countries.
