Description
Budapest's main racetrack makes for a great day out
Named after Hungary's most famous racehorse, Kincsem Park comprises a racetrack, a busy bar and a pleasingly dilapidated grandstand, from where punters can observe the flat races. Trotting has also been moved here since the track was demolished to make way for the Arena Plaza Mall by Keleti station – which means that the traditional New Year's Eve meet, where locals gather to compare plans for the parties ahead, now takes place here.
