Series of interconnected courtyards

Located in the distinct Jewish district of Budapest, Gozsdu Courtyard (Gozsdu Udvar) reaches back to a time when the area was full of life. Semi-deserted, this part of town is now being renewed as a shopping and nightlife district.

Many say that Gozsdu Courtyard (Gozsdu Udvar) looks as if it had just been deserted yesterday--peek in the windows of some of the courtyard buildings and you'll see the remnants of a once-vibrant neighborhood. Now there are a few cool bars and retailers in the area, giving you a nice juxtaposition of how Budapest is in a constant state of transition.
