The art-collector Lájos Ernst purchased this house in 1912. Its Art Nouveau architecture being one attraction that will interest visitors, the Ernst Museum also houses one of the most impressive collections of Hungarian art in the country.
The Ernst Museum organizes exhibitions of contemporary local,and sometimes international, artists are there for the admirer. However, many of the pieces have been distributed to other museums in Budapest.
