The City Park Ice Rink was expanded in 2011, and it now offers a 180x67 metres skating rink and an international standard ice hockey rink. The neo baroque building by the ice rink, which is a national monument, was designed by Imre Francsek. The building hosts a tourist center, and an event hall. In the summer, the rink becomes a pond with ideal conditions for boating and other water activities.
